About Us

The Lighthouse Mentoring Center, established in April 2000, is a nonprofit residential youth home serving boys and girls between the ages of six and nineteen who, because of life circumstance have not been able to live in other settings.

To provide a stable, structured, and loving home in a positive environment where each child can maximize their potential, achieve independence, and become a contributing member of society. We aim to accomplish each youth’s therapeutic goals using the “Nurtured Heart Approach,” which is a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed treatment modality.
